My main area of research interest is Optical Communication more specifically Photonics Integrated Circuits.
My work is focused on PBG, MOEM Sensors, micro ring resonator, Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) Arrays, Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) network Architecture.
I Obtained Ph.D from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 1993 and has been Post Doctoral Research fellow at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan during 1992-1996.
I am a member of IEEE Photonics and IEEE Society.
My extra interests include Photonics Education in India, Students activities in "IEEE Bangalore Section".
I look forward for Scientific & Technical interrelationships.
