INCENTIVES GIVEN BY THE GOVERNMENT OF UP TO NCC CADETS

Preference:- NCC cadets are given preferences in recruitment in State Government Services.
Bonus Marks:- Awarded for admission in Graduate law and B.Ed. courses.
Reservation:- 1% Horizontal Reservation in Medical colleges for NCC C certificate holders with minimum B grading. 1% Reservation in All Educational Institutions for NCC Certificate holders.

6-4 vacancies reserved in IMA, DEHRADUN, 100 IN OFFICERS ACADEMY (OTC) CHENNAI FOR SSC NON TECHNICAL NO UPSC EXAM ONLY SSB

NAVY
6 Vacancies PER COURSE NO UPSC EXAM ONLY SSB

IAF
10% of vacancies Indain Air Force.
RESERVED FOR ALL COURSES INCLUDING FLYING TRAINING COURSES. NO UPSC EXAM. ONLY SSB


OTHERS
 * BONUS MARKS ARE AWARDED TO NCC C CERTIFICATE HOLDERS FOR RECRUITMENT IN DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATION.

   * GENERAL ORDER ISSUED BY STATE GOVERNMENT FOR GIVING PREFERENCE TO NCC CADETS IN MATTERS OF RECRUITMENT IN STATE GOVERNMENT AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.

    * SOME INDUSTRIES GIVE PREFERENCE TO NCC C CERTIFICATE HOLDERS FOR VARIOUS JOBS.

    * 5-10 Percent BONUS MARKS ARE AWARDED FOR RECRUITMENT IN ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE TO NCC C CERTIFICATE HOLDERS.

    * 2-10 PERCENT BONUS MARKS ARE AWARDED TO NCC C CERTIFICATE HOLDERS FOR RECRUITMENT IN BSF, CRDF, CISF, COAST, GUARDS, ITBP, ETC.

Others: 
  1. The Jet Air Corporation Ltd due weightage will be given for employment whenever any NCC cadet appears for the interview.

   2. Indian already giving preferences to the NCC B & C certificate holders for appointment in the security section.

   3. Hindustan Shipyard Ltd.For direct recruitment in group CSD posts. Weightage of terms of marks being given for extra curricular activities which include NCC for staff posts.

   4. Coal Indian Ltd.Weightage for NCC Certificates is given for JD (2 marks) and SD ( 4 marks) at the time of selection of candidates.

   5. National Hydrolelectric Power:Due weightage will be given to qualified candidates who are NCC B & C certificate holders while filing up the appropriate posts through direct recruitment.

   6. Pawan Hans Ltd.NCC candidates who have passed B & C certificate of NCC will be given preference
Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.For fire fighting operator in Group C NCC C certificate has been prescribed as desirable

7. qualification. Morever at the time of interview for other group C Posts, candidates possessing NCC certificates are given due weightage under the category of extra curricular activities.

   8. National Building Const. Corporation Ltd.-Persons having NCC certificate are given due weightage.

   9. The National small industries Corp. Ltd.NCC B & C certificate holders are preferred for recruitment to groupB & C Posts.

Sahara India- Many appointments are made based wholly on NCC C certificate as
qualification.
